This was my answer to one of the set tasks. i had to image how the glacier might have looked in Apedale 20 thousand years ago. i quickly hatched this out in photoshop. It's not very good but it serves the purpose of highlighting what I imagined the area to be like.

Martyn, would you explain this for those of us who do not know what this means please. What is geocaching and what is the watermills chimney, a type of volcano or water spout, like our Yosemite gyser? Thank you.
Geocaching is a hobby where a handheld GPS is used to search for hidden treasure (usually a log book that you sign) then you log your find at www.geocaching.com my user name is martyn404. Each geocache has a specific location and a name and sometimes a helping clue, of which some of these are hidden at places of interest being historic or otherwise. This watermills chimney cache is hidden near to the Watermills colliery engine house chimney. There is no longer any sign of the coal pit but part of the chimney remains as a lasting memorial to industrial heritage in the Apedale area. I hope this answers your question.
